Kitsap Mustang Club Presents

Ervin and Billie Malkowski's /1968 Convertible

Erv. and Billie have been members of Kitsap Mustang Club since 1996.  Erv. served as KMC Parade Chair from1997 to 1999, Club President in 2000 and 2001, and Co-Show Chair, from 2002 to present.  Billie served as Membership Chair in 2000, and Charity Liason & Vice-president from 2001 to present.

They thought they would never own a convertible because of living in the Pacific Northwest, where it rains a lot.  But now that they own a Convertible Mustang, they claim they will never be without one!

The Malkowski's purchased this fine "Sunlit Gold" pony in June of 1996 in Puyallup, Washington.  The car was restored to its original condition with its six cylinder engine in 1991 by its previous owner. It was repowered in 2001 replacing the six with a 428 c.i. engine bored .030" over, Edelbrock "Performer" intake manifold with a "Holly" 750 c.f.m. double pump carburetor. Other changes: C-6 transmission, 9""EquaLock" rear differential with 2:75/1 gear ratio, power front disc brakes, dual exhaust with "Dynomax" mufflers and stainless steel twin tip exhaust tubes, styled steel wheels, and "GT" badges, hub caps, and gas cap.

This Mustang gets about 14 mpg and is driven about 6,000 miles per year to parades and car shows in Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.

The Malkowski's  reside in Port Orchard, Washington and their email address is: ebmalkowski@wavecable.com
